Do you still have dinner & a show??
Mario, College Dave, Gigi, Jennifer, Antonio, Nick, Juta, Jeremy, and Becca are so wonderful and amazing (not to mention the bussers as they make sure your table is detailed clean of empty plates and glasses as this is the way I am as a long time server/ bartender) I go way back 26 years with a few these people. We love this restaurant. The Inn is so clean, practicing social distancing, and the cuisine is delicious. I love my food hot and this food comes out so hot and amazing. Also, as a long time vegetarian they respect your diet and will do everything to make your experience delightful. Lastly, I have a service pup and they are completely service dog friendly. I cannot say enough about this venue. One of my favorite places to go. Thank you so much for having us. God bless the Bluemound Inn.
MoreGreat outside patio.. Pleasant atmosphere.. Food was delicious.. The waitress Becca is absolutely wonderful.. If you want great service.. Ask for her.
MoreThank you Rebecca for a wonderful ordering experience tonight!! You went above and beyond and had pizza delivered to us when you don’t normally deliver to Elm Grove!! Thanks to the sweet delivery guy for getting the pizzas here hot!! Can’t wait till we can come in and eat there again!!🍕🍕🥖
MoreDelicious prime rib! Delicious eggplant Parm! Fine dining setting, so while prices are a bit high, they not out of reason. The interior was a little dated. They offer shuttle rides to the Brewers games, so that's a definite plus in my book! Overall good food, decent environment! I would go there again for a fancy date, just bring a fat wallet...💰💲🤑
MoreWe eat here often and always enjoy great, friendly service, and delicious food. Tonight was our first fish-fry at Balestrieris on Bluemound. It did not disappoint.
MoreAbsolutely awesome as always! Mario rocks and Nick is an awesome bartender! We went to a funeral they made us feel better thank you
MoreThe main manager really cared after a situation. Best pizza.
I have been taking my grandkids to restaurants for years now. Not fast food but restaurants. They had never been to Balistreris so that was the chosen location this week. We got there and were seated. Except for the young woman who brought us water, we were ignored. The table of three elderly people who were seated after us were not ignored but given preferential treatment. They had their beverages and placed their orders before our server would give us the time of day. I felt she was quite rude and when we requested plates for the kids’ pizza, we didn’t see her again until she brought the check. Again if it had not been for the young woman who was bringing water, we never would have been given the plates or containers to take leftovers home. I left a small tip in case they had to split tips but the woman serving us should have received nothing for her rude behavior. The food was very good and the kids’ manners impeccable.
MoreFood was delicious. Great prices. Everything was well organised. Staff were nice. This place was awesome.
MoreFirst time visiting this restaurant... Had the fried walleye and can't iterate enough how amazing it was! Perfectly prepared with an amazing crust...best fried walleye I've ever had hands down! Atmosphere and service was also on point!!!
MoreExcellent food. Friendly, experienced staff. Beautiful, relaxing environment. Open extended hours. Always on our "Go-To" short list in the Milwaukee area.
MoreThe food was amazing! Creative (and traditional) pizza options. We couldn't decide so we ordered two and both were outstanding. There is an extensive wine and beer list. Our server (Becca who was fantastic) told us that all desserts were made in-house and were not to be missed. She was right! The tiramisu was one of the best that I have ever had and the flourless chocolate torte was delicious. It was a bit pricey (let's say $$$ instead of $$) but the quality was worth it. HIGHLY recommended!
MoreFantastic food and service with warm, cozy, friendly atmosphere. Definitely will return
MoreWas back last week for a funeral and managed to pay a visit for some pizza and eggplant fries. Did not disappoint. Hands down my favorite pizza on the planet. I wish I could find a place in Colorado that made that Milwaukee style pizza. If I had some restaurant experience, I would open a place with a similar style pie and it would be a hit. All we have here is chains and New York style (yuck).
MoreExcellent pasta, phenomenal. Go to Wells St location for pizza, though. I was told by both locations that the pizza is the same at both locations, but it isn’t. Have been going to Wells St for 20+ year, had the pizza at this location twice now and it is definitely not the same. So, I come here when I want pasta and go to Wells when I want pizza. Sometimes I order takeout pasta and pizza on the same night and hit both locations. The restaurant, staff, food quality are all 5 stars but I’ll leave 4 stars for both locations for lying about their pizza being the same. This isn’t just my opinion and palette, it’s everyone who has been to both locations. Pasta or pizza, you choose, excellent quality and staff.
MoreBaked mozzarella and pepperoni pizza bread. 10/10. Pretty large outdoor seating area with some shade.
MoreBeautiful decor at this time of year (Christmas season). The food was authentic for sure!! I’m glad I listened to a friend and selected this place to celebrate my birthday. The waitress was super nice!! I would only suggest they give a heads up about how much time a party over four has to be there till. We felt SUPER rushed. It’s a Saturday and we understand that it’s one of their busiest days, but I called THREE times in advance to let them know about how many will be coming and that it was a birthday celebration. We still gave a generous tip and the experience overall was really not bad.
MoreThe gourmet pizza was good, but wasn't quite what I was hoping for. Bartenders were attentive and the atmosphere was comfortable. Prices were what I expected from a balistreri's owned restaurant, not cheap, but you get what you pay for... Fast service and quality food.
MoreBalistreri's has great food and the majority of the time great service. We went to Balistreri's tonight on New Year's Eve and had reservations at 8pm. We got stuck sitting across from the bar where the main entrance aisle is. I've sat here before and was fine with it but tonight was absolutely awful. Because it was New Year's Eve there was a group of around 12 people at the bar bumping into our table and staring at us eat. It was unbelievably uncomfortable. The group of 12 people got there around 8pm and they had reservations at 8:30pm. They weren't seated until past 9pm. I love Balistreri's and stop here at least once a month but seating people across from the bar on a day like today is not a good idea. It began to be so uncomfortable that we had to ask the people standing by us to move back because they were bumping into our table and we had to hear their political conversations. We plan to go here again but will never take a seat across from the bar by the windows again.
MoreBalistreri's on Bluemound is a treat. It's ready charming and cozy. Everytime we come here, it's really cold, and unfortunately, it always feels like we're seated somewhere where the draft gets you. The service is prompt and friendly. We have a standard order here: eggplant fries and a pizza. The eggplant fries are delicious. They don't seem over breaded and the sauce they are serves with is delicious. The pizzas we have tried thus far are the veggie, the white, and the Mediterranean. The Mediterranean was the most recent, and it was super delicious. The pizza has a great compliment of flavors and really bright. We ordered a large for the two of us, and clearly our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. It came out on two cafeteria trays! Needless to say, we had leftovers. I definitely recommend coming here.
MoreHad pizza, was really good. Service was really good as well, upclass place with a great atmosphere. Prices were also really good for the amount of food you get
MoreI've ordered from them twice; once for a pizza for myself and a second time several pizzas for me and my co-workers. Since the Pizza is all I've had, and it's always been to go, I can't really comment on eating inside or the other items on the menu. I can say that I ordered the pepperoni special the first time, and they put WAY TOO many olives on it. When I ordered for my co-workers, I ordered just one topping on each pizza, and it was some of the best pizza I've ever had.
MorePizza was excellent. We sat outside on patio as it felt safer. Disappointing that the waitress did not have a face mask on. The helper did.
MoreThe place offers a nice variety of delicious food. I like eating here. The employees are always kind, rates are affordable and the spot is always well organised.
MoreThe other one is better in my opinion. Our waitress was great. The food was good but for what we got the price tag seemed higher than cheech.
MoreFrom Minnesota visiting a mediocre Italian restaurant with VERY LITTLE protective measures against COVID. Limited servers And staff wearing masks. All tables filled with older guests Id assume regulars- even without pandemic food really lacking.
MoreSome great food for sure. Great service as well. I usually go Sunday mornings before a Brewers home game. Free shuttle to and from the game when you order food. They have a brunch menu along with their normal menu. I have had the 3 egg Swiss Cheese omelet. It comes with hashbrowns and toast. It is very good. I have also had the Bruschetta 3 egg omelet. It also comes with hashbrowns and toast. It was phenomenal. I highly recommend trying it.I think no matter what you order and try you will not be disappointed. Their pizza is very good as well. I always look forward to eating a great meal every time I stop in.
MoreWould be nicer if all staff and patrons were wearing masks during this pandemic..our waitress did not have a mask..our experience was not enjoyable..disappointed
MoreOne of our favorite places to share quality Italian cuisine. Balistreri's Bluemound Inn has an extensive menu and wine list. Wether you are a seafood lover, carnivore, pasta aficionado or simply crave their mouth watering pizza, you can't go wrong with this gem of a place. Order one of the craft cocktails, ice cream drinks or specialty desserts. You won't be disappointed.
MoreGreat pizza!Reminds me of Hups Pizza on 53rd and Hampton. I only will partake of pizza from Hups and Balistreris on Bluemound
MoreVery Italian restaurant! Lots of pasta dishes and pizza choices. Food is excellent! Will definitely come back next time I'm in Milwaukee!
MoreThe lunch menu has plenty of options and the portion sizes are perfect! A taste of Italy that's hard to beat.
MoreBest authentic Italian food! I could eat here every day. Recommend calling for reservations!
MoreFish FryFish (cod) 9/10 very goodTartar sauce 9/10 best I've ever tastedFrench fries 6/10 alrightColeslaw 1/10 I just don't know why coleslaw is even a thing; it's probably fine if you like it.Table bread 8/10 nice and softThe layout is a bit cramped, but fine once seated. It's a little awkward to find the hostess station and wait for a table. The atmosphere is quite old fashioned, but overall nice.
MoreHad good company and great food. Enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant as our waitress was friendly. Enjoyed our time when eating out.
MoreGreat pizza! Excellent service!
We went here for a work dinner and it was excellent! We started with the artichoke dip and the salami and antipasto dishes. Both were excellent. The salami plate was great with lots of olives, artichokes, salami, prosciutto and other tasty items. I had the carbonara for my main and it was delicious! Lots of bacon or pancetta in a thick cream sauce. Huge portions. Super rich and tasty! It comes with soft and fresh bread. Perfect for indulging in Italian!Servers were prompt and attentive. Great wine and beer selection. I love the interior! Has a home, Italian farmhouse feel. The bar area is super cute and welcoming.
MoreGoing here for over 20 years and the experience and food have never been a disappointment. Would recommend to anyone!
MoreDiscovered Balistreri's by accident while driving from Mayfair to West Allis. Great little place with wonderful staff and atmosphere. Great very thin crust pizza, and had to order the eggplant strips. All very tasty. Will return, on purpose next time.
MoreVery friendly people working there. We ordered our food and received it fairly quick. Our server was very friendly the whole time. Excellent choice to go and grab some lunch or dinner. Definitely will be back sooner than later.
MoreThe food was delicious and service was great however was put at a table right next to the door which was extremely cold. Also had to ask for utensils and a napkin as the table was not set yet. Many other open tables we could've been sat at. The table next to the door should be the absolute last place to sit someone especially during the winter. Still good food!
MoreAlways fine food. And, I am really pleased I discovered the thicker crust pizza. All these years and I just saw it on the menu for the first time several months ago. Love it. And I also highly recommend the escargot. Oh baby the butter and garlic.
MoreAlways great always good top line service with the best food what else do you need
MoreCalled about a fish fry today.Answered the phone very rudely then proceeded to hang up.
MoreGreat pizza, friendly service in a very clean restaurant. Not cheap, but the food is good.
MoreWonderful service and atmosphere. My pasta was so-so
Excellent food, hostess was rude. Arrived 330 pm, only one table dining at the time, we were told we could only stay if we would be out by 5. We told her that it depends on the speed of service. Needless to say, service was slow. we were out by 530. Waiter was good. even apologized for rude hostess. Food was great.
MoreGreat Food & Service....what else do you need
I love Balisteris. It's my Go-to Favorite Restaurant. Never a complaint. Be sure to get the Eggplant. ❤
MoreWell, this had been a very long dissertation as it was thought out...alas, it's the Yuletide Season, so.... Dave the master mixologist, was terrific. The drink choice perfect...he got a grand tip. The m i c at the desk, was not so kind. So, no tip. The lost pizza order was found, and summarily burnt to a crisp. Being not happy since it was $27, a call was made and answered with little regard for any of the blatant disregard for quality, or customer happiness. Being torn about this and the season is the Only reason trying that place again may happen. Buyer beware!
